Policy confirmed 3rd May 2009
The Trustees have a policy in place regarding the type of cars which may have access to the property owned by the church charity:
Cars on the property must be safe and have a current MOT certificate, Road Tax and insurance.
The Trustees may consider written applications for cars to be parked on their land without Road Tax or valid MOT.
Such cars must have valid insurance in place, a copy of which must be presented with written application before the Trustees will consider letting such cars to be parked on the property. Such arrangements will be subject to periodic review dependant on (a) evidence of continued insurance being presented to the Trustees (b) the cars being maintained in a safe condition.
Vehicles which fail such requirements should be removed immediately and the Trustees retain the right to remove any such vehicle from the church’s land without further notice.
