We frequently talk to Christians around the world, many of whom suffer persecution.  Each family, church or mission have asked that we pray for them.  It is our prayer that

We have been asked to pray about the persecutions that Christians in these countries endure each day.

HARVEST ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL PROJECT

Motto: Bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

1. Introduction :

Background to the Programme :

In 2007 a survey was carried out in the ten villages to find out if an English medium school in the area would be beneficial. The needs assessment highlighted the need for good teaching for the poor school children who cannot go to town schools.

As a result of the survey, Harvest English Medium School project committee was formed with churches leaders, Young Mizo Association leaders and Village council members for the poor school children in the village of Vathuampui, Lawngtlai District, Mizoram State, India. But in lack of financial support the project was not able to start till today.

2. The Project :

The project was planned to open for the poor school children from KG – Class VII (will expand to Class X when it is convenient). And the students will be taught by mission minded teachers.

1. Implementation of the Project :

The school will join Lai Autonomous District Council Board of School Education. And there will be eight class rooms in the school. According to the Board of school education requirement different subject will be taught by expert teachers. In every class there will be a subject on the Bible and it is a compulsory subject for the school.

2. Aims and Objective of the Project:

AIMS:

** To provide English language proficiency every class in a variety of the four skills; reading, writing, listening and speaking.

** To guide them how to walk with the Lord in their present and future lives.

** For school children to have enough explanation and teaching in every subjects.

** To develop them in wisdom and in favor with God and men.

** To solve poor school children parents headache in connection with sending their children to town schools without having money.
