Christians around the world

We frequently talk to Christians around the world, many of whom suffer persecution.  Each family, church or mission have asked that we pray for them.  It is our prayer that

2We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; 3Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

We have been asked to pray about the persecutions that Christians in these countries endure each day.

The following pages show some who have given permission for their church or mission to be displayed. 

 

1.  Emili from Maharashtra, India.  She became a Christian aged 17 and is now aged 23.  Her family threw her out on the street when they discovered this.  She told me:  God is using me to care orphans and teach them Bible and help them to grow in Christ.  We all sleep on mud floor. 

2.  Chris from Kiribati, Pakistan.  He is married with children and feels alone as a Christian in a muslim country. 

3.  Melvyn and Mercy Vanlalhlimpuia from Myanmar (formerly Burma) (India).  He told me that his children need warm clothes and blankets very much as it is very cold these days.  It is a hilly place here, very cold.
